On Tuesday last week Government State officials released a report that A lady in Michigan has been arrested for handing out marijuana for those who would sign up and vote. She was thinking this is the real way to get the general public motivated to vote and to possible vote PRO-WEED. This story sounds so crazy that it almost couldn’t be true but actaully she operated a medicinal marijuana clinic in Lansing, Michigan. The police have charged Shekina Pena, 34, with breaking the state’s election law and a misdemeanor after authorities said she tried to influence voters with pot outside the voting boothes. The Michigan state Attorney General Bill Schuette said “Voters did not intend for marijuana to be handed out as a door prize, especially when it undermines the integrity of our elections process”. The dealer Pena denied and later replied ”It wasn’t ever to lure patients or try to buy their votes or anything like that”. But Secretary of State Ruth Johnson totatlly disagreed and argued that Pena’s intent very was clear. Pena offered their customers marijuana in exchange for voter registration. Pena also provided a list of good candidates for the voters to think about as they were given a bag of dank to go vote. In Pena’s defense she told reporters she just wanted her patients to know who her clinic ( Your Healthy Choice Clinic) was supporting in the elections. Then Pena went on to say”We let them know how we feel,We’re not trying to tell anyone who to vote for. We just definitely want them to support the ones that are supporting us.” Later that day Pena was released on a bond and the future court date has not yet been set. Michigan’s pot bribe debate awaits for trial and the states public relations scandal breaks out. I personally think this is funny and probabbly a little crisis for the state of michigan. We always hear about so called election scandals and the fraud elections but really this story is something else . Could you imagine you go to vote and do your American duty and in the process you get a free bag of weed? I know some people are thinking right now that would be amazing and you would probably vote all the time. This is just another another oddity news story that of course never happens when we are around to see how crazy people are now days. But i guess since everything is getting a little wierd Honestly maybe the Radical Republicans should look into to this strategy because that could be the way the Tea-partiers can win the 2012 elections. Maybe the only way, but even then if they just get America so stoned i still dont think they got a chance in hell!
